NEW BEGINNINGS FOR TIVOLI AUDIO
Contracted by the famous Boston, Massachusetts based radio brand, Tye will report directly to Tivoli Audio. The new role follows Tye’s shock departure from Convoy International in January this year.
With over 40 years’ experience in both the specialist HiFi and mass market channels, Tye will be responsible for sales and marketing, building existing relationships and developing new channels for the brand.
Silvio Pupino, Tivoli Audio's Vice President of Sales told StereoNET:
This is an exciting time in Tivoli Audio's history. We have recently released to the market several new innovative home audio products including the Art series of networked speakers and the Model One Digital, building new audio technologies into our classic designs which have come to be recognised the world over.
StereoNET understands that Interdyn will be retained to manage logistics and the service side of Tivoli Audio's Australian operations
Sam Encel, Director of Interdyn added:
We have great admiration for Tivoli's products, but the brand did not fit in with our renewed focus on component audio-visual products. With this new arrangement, we are able to deploy our logistical and support excellence in backing up the operations of Tivoli into the future, while the brand will have its own sales representation in Australia which is able to focus purely on its needs,
Gary Tye will assume the Australian Manager role effective immediately.
The announcement coincides with some exciting new products from Tivoli Audio, including the Model One Digital radio, and the Art Series of networked speakers.
